Two Pressure Classes: 10.4 and 13 bar<\/h3>\n
The ZR 145 VSD comes as a 10.4 bar(e) machine and as a 13 bar(e) machine. In the 10.4 class the VSD+ Pack is rated at four pressure settings: at the minimum of 4 bar(e) it produces 78.2 to 430.6 l\/s (165.6 to 912.3 cfm), at the effective setting of 7 bar(e) it produces 78.8 to 415.2 l\/s (167 to 879.7 cfm).<\/p>\n
At 9 bar(e) the machine delivers 78.6 to 383.2 l\/s (166.5 to 811.9 cfm), and at the maximum of 10.4 bar(e) it still delivers 77.6 to 360.5 l\/s (164.3 to 763.9 cfm).<\/p>\n
The rated data of the VSD+ Pack lists the flow band at each of the four settings for the 50 Hz supply.<\/p>\n
In the 13 bar class the Pack is rated from a minimum setting of 9 bar(e), where it produces 78.5 to 360.2 l\/s (166.3 to 763.2 cfm), through an effective setting of 10.4 bar(e) with 77.2 to 359.6 l\/s (163.6 to 762 cfm), up to the maximum of 13 bar(e) with 75.6 to 316.8 l\/s (160.2 to 671.3 cfm).<\/p>\n
A plant that runs high-pressure processes takes the 13 bar class and feeds its network straight from the package.<\/p>\n The figures below are copied from the official ZR\/ZT 75-160 VSD+ technical data. Unit performance is measured according to ISO 1217, Annex E, Edition 4 (2009), under the reference conditions of 0% relative humidity, 1 bar absolute inlet pressure and 20\u00b0C intake temperature. At that level the water-cooled package stays well inside the sound range of an industrial hall.<\/p>\n The 13 bar class of the ZR 145 VSD shares the enclosure and the drive system and is rated at three pressure settings.<\/p>\n The installed motor power stays at 145 kW (200 hp), and the emission sound pressure level of the 13 bar class reads 72 dB(A) under the same measurement basis. The 13 bar build carries its own engineering: special coating and seals designed for higher temperatures, an oil cooler redesigned for higher oil temperatures, gear sets selected for the 13 bar outlet pressure, and an optimized interstage pressure through high pressure stage speed control.<\/p>\n The Full Feature build adds the integrated iMD dryer, the heat-of-compression unit that dries the air inside the same enclosure. The pulsation dampener steadies the flow before the intercooler, the automated moisture separation removes the condensate, and the second stage brings the air to its final pressure with the efficiency that two-stage compression gives over a single stage at these ratios.<\/p>\n The cooling water serves the intercooler and aftercooler that condition the compressed air, the oil coolers that hold the oil temperature at its optimum, and the jackets of the motor and the elements. The oil loop pumps cooled oil through a high efficiency filter to the gear train, and bypass valves protect the filter while the pressure stays stable across the speed range of the drive.<\/p>\n The ZR 145 VSD is certified to ISO 8573-1 Class 0, the strictest oil quality class of the standard, and the oil-free element design adds no oil to the air at any point of the speed window. Together with the ISO 1217 performance rating and the ISO 9001 manufacturing certificate, the machine carries the documents that audited processes ask for.<\/p>\n In the Full Feature builds the drying function uses the heat of compression instead of external energy. In the iMD package the whole drying function lives inside the compressor enclosure.
