Описание
Этот 1092114221 is the 3.0 kW three-phase induction motor that Atlas Copco supplies for oil-injected screw compressors. It is wound for a 380 V 50 Hz supply, the supply that the machines in its service range are built around, and it turns the screw element through the drive arrangement of the package. The official record names it plainly: MOTOR 3.0KW 380V 50HZ FOR OIL INJECTED SCREW COMPRESSORS.
Every 1092114221 supplied is a complete motor, delivered as one unit with the flange, the terminal box and the cooling assembly in place, ready to take the position of the unit it replaces.
The motor is recorded under three numbers in the Atlas Copco parts system. The earliest reference is 1092125100, followed by 1092127300, and the 1092114221 is the current number an order is placed against today. A machine file, a quotation or a nameplate written under either earlier reference therefore describes the same motor, and the replacement is supplied as the 1092114221.

What a 3.0 kW Drive Motor Does in the Package
In an oil-injected screw compressor, the motor is the prime mover. It draws electrical power from the supply, turns at its rated speed, and passes that rotation to the screw element through the drive train. Every cubic metre of air the machine delivers starts as torque at this shaft, which is why the condition of the 1092114221 is felt directly in the performance of the whole package.
At 3.0 kW this is a small drive motor, the size class used on compact oil-injected machines. The three-phase induction design is the standard choice for this duty: a stator winding creates a rotating magnetic field from the 380 V 50 Hz supply, the rotor follows that field, and the motor settles just below synchronous speed under load. There is no brush gear and no separate excitation, so the unit runs for years with little more than clean cooling air and sound bearings as its working requirements.
The 50 Hz Winding
The 50 Hz winding matters as much as the kilowatt figure. A motor is designed for one supply, and the 1092114221 is matched to grids that deliver 380 V at 50 cycles. On that supply it produces its rated power at its designed speed and current. Connecting a motor to a supply it was not wound for changes speed, current and cooling together, so the voltage and frequency on the order are checked against the machine nameplate as part of the match, exactly like the part number.
Этот 1092114221 is ordered, stored and fitted as a single assembly. There is no separate stator kit or rotor set to book against a repair, so the machine spends one planned stop in the change instead of two, and the unit that comes out is a complete motor that can be inspected on the bench afterwards.
Identification and the Number Line Behind It
The body carries a nameplate in the Atlas Copco style, and the type marking on it reads FF-L112S-4 with the B5 flange-mounting code beside it. That marking is the quickest cross-check on the machine: the frame and mounting code belong to the 3.0 kW 50 Hz build, and a replacement whose marking matches the old plate is the right motor for the position.
The three-number line is worth keeping straight in the parts file. The 1092114221 replaced 1092127300, which had itself replaced 1092125100. Atlas Copco consolidated the part under the current number, and the parts desk directs every enquiry on either earlier reference to the same unit. Two numbers in one service file therefore do not mean two different motors; they mean the same position was documented at different times.
For a workshop, the practical habit is simple. When the old motor or the machine file shows 1092125100 or 1092127300, the order goes out as the 1092114221, and both numbers are recorded together so the next person reading the file sees the line in one pass. That habit prevents a second enquiry, a second quotation and a second confirmation for a part that has already been matched.

Construction You Can See on the Unit
The photographs of the 1092114221 show the construction of a flange-mounted industrial induction motor of this size. The frame carries deep longitudinal cooling fins from the mounting flange to the rear shield, and the fan cover at the non-drive end completes the ventilation path that keeps the winding temperature inside its class while the machine runs. Both features belong to the standard industrial build of the 1092114221.
At the drive end, the cast flange presents a machined face with a spigot pilot and a bolt circle. This is the B5 mounting arrangement: the motor hangs on its flange rather than standing on feet, and the spigot centres the unit against the machine so the shaft lines up with the element drive without shimming. The flange face and the spigot are the two surfaces that decide the fit, and they are the surfaces to protect during storage and handling.
The shaft protrudes through the flange centre for the drive coupling or pulley. A terminal box sits on top of the frame with a gland plate for the cable entry, an eyebolt on the frame gives the lifting point for the 30 kg unit, and the nameplate is fixed to the frame where the supply data and the type marking stay readable for the life of the 1092114221.

Renewing the Motor on the Machine
A drive motor is renewed when its condition, not the calendar, calls for it. Bearing noise that grows across successive readings, vibration at the frame, a winding that trips on temperature under a load it used to carry, or visible damage to the flange or shaft are the signs that move the job onto the plan. On a 3.0 kW machine the motor is accessible, and the change is a scheduled shift rather than a project.
A record of running hours and the readings taken on the 1092114221 through its life makes that plan a short meeting instead of a diagnosis.
The fitting sequence follows the interfaces the 1092114221 was built with. Power is isolated and proven dead, the cable is removed from the old terminal box and the terminal positions are noted, and the drive coupling or pulley is drawn off the old shaft.
The four or more flange bolts come out, the old unit is lifted clear on its eyebolt, and the 1092114221 is presented on the same flange faces the machine was built around. The 1092114221 carries the same flange code as the unit it replaces, so the bolt pattern and the spigot line up without machining.
Alignment and rotation are confirmed before the machine is closed up. On a flange-mounted motor the spigot does most of the centring work, but the coupling gap and the direction of rotation are still checked against the element, because a screw compressor that turns backwards damages itself in seconds. The terminal connections are made as recorded, the cable gland is sealed, and the first start is made unloaded with the current drawn and the running noise compared against the record of the old unit.
Ordering the 1092114221 Through Seadweer
Two pieces of information lock the order: the number on the motor being replaced, which reads 1092114221, 1092127300 or 1092125100, and the model and serial number from the compressor nameplate. The serial number matters because drive arrangements differ across the builds that use this motor size, and the parts list for that serial number is the record that settles the match.
Send both to Seadweer and the parts desk confirms the fitment against the machine build in one pass, without a second round of questions. Where the old number has worn away, the nameplate of the machine is enough on its own, because the parts list for the serial names the motor it was built with.
Plants that run several machines keep model, serial and motor number together in one record per machine. That record is what turns the next renewal of the 1092114221 into a single confirmed message.

Часто задаваемые вопросы
What is the difference between 1092114221, 1092127300 and 1092125100?
They are one motor recorded under three numbers from different periods. The 1092125100 is the oldest reference, 1092127300 came after it, and the 1092114221 is the current number an order is placed against today. A part supplied against any of the three is the same 1092114221.
Which compressors use the 1092114221 motor?
The official record places it in the oil-injected screw compressor range, wound for a 380 V 50 Hz supply at 3.0 kW. Drive arrangements differ across the builds of that range, so the parts list for your machine serial number is the record that confirms the match.
What does the B5 flange mounting mean in practice?
The motor is carried by its machined flange rather than by feet. The flange face bolts against the machine, the spigot pilot centres the unit, and the shaft passes through the flange centre to the drive. A replacement with the same flange code bolts onto the same faces without adaptation.
How heavy is the 1092114221 and how is it handled?
The item data lists 30 kg and a packed size of 58 × 44 × 48 cm. At that weight the unit is lifted on its eyebolt with normal workshop equipment, and the flange face and shaft end are protected during the move.
What signs show that the drive motor needs renewal?
Growing bearing noise, rising vibration at the frame, a winding that trips on temperature under a familiar load, or damage to the flange or shaft are the signs that put the change on the plan. Recorded at a fixed interval, the same readings become a trend that turns an unplanned stop into a scheduled one.
How do I order a replacement for my compressor?
Read the number on the motor being replaced, which reads 1092114221, 1092127300 or 1092125100, and note the model and serial number from the compressor nameplate. Send both to Seadweer and the fitment is confirmed before the order is placed.

Our spare-part register still listed the older reference for the drive motor, and the nameplate on the removed unit carried a second number again. We sent both with the compressor model and serial number, and the reply named the 1092114221 as the current part for that position, with both earlier numbers confirmed as the same motor. The unit arrived on a pallet with the flange protected and the terminal box closed, and it bolted onto the machine on the same flange faces as the old one. The new number is now the one written in the register.
